Drivers and Software

    • Elite 12 Application Files v3.4 (3/21/2000) - The application files for the Elite 12 Series of printers. The files include the .PPD, .PDX, .PDF, and .MPD files for the Elite 12 Series. Please refer to the documentation included with your software applications for further information regarding these files.
       
    • Elite 12 Software Installer (10/15/2001) - The software installer for the Elite 12 series of printers. The files include the .PPD, .PDX, .PDF, and .MPD files for the Elite 12 Series. Please refer to the documentation included with your software applications for further information regarding these files. This installer is compatible with Mac System 7.1 through OS X (including Jaguar).
      Note: Printing with OS X native applications will require the installation of printer firmware release version 3.45, available from GCC Technical Support. Contact GCC Technical Support at 781-276-8620 M-F 9:00-7:00 EST to determine how to obtain an upgrade.

  • Windows
     
    • Driver (3/21/2000) - The Windows 95/98/ME, NT 3.5, and NT 4.0 driver and application files for the Elite 12 Series.
       
    • Windows 2000/XP Driver (2/22/2000) - The Windows 2000 driver and application files for the Elite 12/600, Elite 12/600 N, Elite 1212 and Elite 12/1200 N printers.
       
    • USB Driver for Windows98/ME (12/l/2000) - USB Software for Windows 98 and Windows Me installation of the Elite 12 printer. If you have previously attempted to install your Elite 12 on a Windows 98 System using the old USB software you must run the included 'DeInstaller' before attempting to install this software. Please download and review the Installation Guides prior to attempting the installation. Note: This software is only compatible with USB-equipped PCs running Windows 98/ME. Other versions of Windows are not supported.

    • IP P2P v2.70 (12/1/1999) - The Windows 95/98/ME compatible software to enumerate network printers as local printers and allow PC's running these systems to print to the Elite 12 over a TCP-IP network.

  • Elite 12 Series Installation Guide (PDF - 3.8 MB) - This document covers the hardware and software installation steps for setting up your Elite 12 Series printer. The Installation Guide also covers information on USB printing that was not included in the main user's manual.

  • GCC Return Merchandise Authorization - For US customers only: Is there something wrong with your printer, and you need to return it to GCC for repair? Before you call Tech Support to get a Return Authorization (RMA) Number, print out this form, fill out the requested information and fax the form to GCC Technical Support at (781) 275-1115. If you are a GCC Authorized Dealer, use the Dealer RMA Request Form (PDF - 20 KB) instead.
    Once you have completed the RMA Authorization form, you must contact GCC Technical Support to receive a valid RMA number. Do not return your printer without a valid RMA number. RMA numbers are valid for 30 days only.
  • Technical Bulletin PR022: Elite 12 Series Paper Jams - GCC has identified a component within the Elite 12 Series printer's paper tray that, if improperly adjusted, can result in paper jams and multiple pages feeding. This bulletin outlines the proper adjustment of this part
